Position Overview

Are you a dedicated mental health professional eager to make a meaningful impact from the comfort of your home? Privia Mental and Wellness Center is seeking an experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) to provide exceptional mental health care in a fully remote setting. This full-time role offers the flexibility to set your own hours, allowing you the agency to balance work with your personal life while earning an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000, based on your hours worked.

About the Organization

Privia Mental and Wellness Center is committed to bridging the gap between licensed mental health therapists and clients in need of care, particularly in the Vancouver, Washington area. Our organization prides itself on fostering a supportive community for our therapists while ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care. With an emphasis on low-acuity, stable clients who are pre-screened for therapy, we maintain a safe and collaborative environment for both our clients and our team.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for significant flexibility in your daily routine. As part of our community health clinic model, you will have access to state-of-the-art online therapy tools and a comprehensive therapist portal designed to streamline the counseling process. Our operational frameworks minimize administrative tasks by handling billing and management of client referrals, so you can focus on what you do best: helping clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat to facilitate mental health improvement.
  • Encourage open discussion around emotions and personal experiences, enabling clients to gain insight into their mental health and relationships.
  • Act as a client advocate by assisting them in defining therapeutic goals that align with their personal growth.
  • Evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health conditions comprehensively and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing a solution-based approach derived from your clinical expertise.
  • Maintain accurate and ethical records of client conversation and progress, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve are pre-screened and have low acuity mental health needs, which means they are stable and ready for therapeutic engagement. This focus not only facilitates meaningful therapeutic dialogues but also allows you to apply evidence-based techniques effectively, enhancing outcomes without the added pressure of handling crisis situations.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
  • Must possess an independent licenseโ€”either as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)โ€”issued by the relevant state board; limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
  • Exceptional ability to make professional evaluations, treatment decisions, and maintain effective therapeutic rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated competence in utilizing technological tools for therapy including video conferencing and electronic records management.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach with strong interpersonal skills to connect genuinely with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a remote counseling setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with diverse client populations and familiarity with different cultural backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive annual salary of $90,000 to $104,000, you will enjoy several benefits that demonstrate our commitment to your well-being and professional success:

  • A sign-on bonus to welcome you onboard!
  • Weekly direct deposit for prompt payment.
  • Comprehensive healthcare options including mental health benefits.
  • Minimal administrative workload, with all billing and paperwork handled by our dedicated support team.
  • An unlimited referral system that matches you with clients specifically suited to your specialties.
  • Access to an enriching online therapist portal with resources tailored to your skill set and state licensing requirements.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Privia Mental and Wellness Center, we understand the importance of professional development. Therefore, we offer ongoing training and resources aimed at enhancing your clinical skills and expanding your knowledge base. Opportunities for leadership roles within our expanding network may also be available as we grow.

Why Join Our Team

By joining the team at Privia Mental and Wellness Center, you are becoming part of a mission-driven organization where your talents are valued, and your contributions directly impact the mental health of our communities.
