The Viva Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time remote position, supporting our detox center operations. In this integral role, you will work directly with clients who are experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to identify clients' needs and risks, employing evidence-based methods to guide your practice.
• Designing and implementing individualized care plans that address patients' unique situations, while coordinating care with relevant providers and family members.
• Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions, tailored to clients' presenting problems and emotional health needs.
• Monitoring and managing a caseload of clients, ensuring they receive timely interventions and effective treatment services.
• Assisting with crisis intervention efforts when necessary, utilizing de-escalation techniques to support clients in distress.
• Offering a variety of prevention and treatment services in a culturally sensitive manner, fostering a trusting relationship with clients and their families.
• Participating actively in team meetings, sharing insights, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

This position primarily focuses on clients experiencing severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses, including those undergoing detoxification. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients require sensitivity and adaptability, as you will encounter individuals with wide-ranging beliefs, traditions, and interpersonal styles. Understanding the unique challenges faced by this population is essential for providing meaningful support and promoting holistic recovery.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
• Active Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, risk assessment, and crisis management strategies.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, allowing for efficient management of client caseloads and documentation.
• Commitment to maintaining professional ethical standards and contributing positively to the workplace culture.

While a minimum of two years of experience as a clinical social worker is preferred, enthusiasm for working with underserved populations and a collaborative spirit are highly valued. Experience with detoxification processes and related mental health treatments would be an advantageous asset in this role.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
