Position Overview

Vitalize Metal and Wellness Center is currently seeking a dedicated and driven Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to become an integral member of our remote team based in Tacoma, Washington. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic services to a diverse set of individuals, couples, families, and groups facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise in managing a caseload of clients will be crucial as you work diligently to assist them in achieving their mental health goals through psychotherapy, comprehensive assessments, and valuable consultation services.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to perform your responsibilities in a comfortable and conducive environment. Our work hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with no required evening or weekend shifts, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We foster a collaborative environment by utilizing telehealth platforms for virtual consults, ensuring that you remain connected with your team and clients while working from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of mental health needs for clients and develop tailored treatment plans to meet individual goals.
  • Implement and coordinate behavioral health services that address a variety of mental health disorders, staying updated on current local, state, and federal programs.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary primary care team, maintaining clear and open communication with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure strict adherence to established mental health policies and procedures within our behavioral health program.
  • Provide timely evaluations that include intake assessments for patients, delivering high-quality counseling and crisis intervention services.
  • Identify clients needing additional care and make appropriate referrals for inpatient or specialized services when necessary.
  • Screen patients for potential substance abuse issues and provide referrals to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs as warranted.
  • Engage with clients who screen positive for substance abuse by offering counseling and connecting them with available local resources.
