Evara Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) to join our team in Kingsport, Tennessee. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work within an outpatient office setting. Work Environment

This role is designed for a counselor who thrives in a remote, outpatient space where autonomy is appreciated, yet collaboration is encouraged. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life setting. We utilize state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate seamless documentation and client management, ensuring that you spend more time focusing on patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client goals, incorporating measurable objectives.
  • Provide engaging and effective individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices to promote recovery.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, contributing to effective treatment continuity.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including primary care physicians and community resources, to enhance client support.
  • Participate actively in case reviews, peer consultations, and professional development opportunities to ensure continuous growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse caseload that spans various demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related field.
  • Active Tennessee LPC-MHSP license or eligibility for licensure within 90 days of hire.
  • A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience providing therapy in outpatient or community mental health settings.
  • Proficiency in developing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and diagnosing clients per DSM-5 criteria.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems, ensuring proficient management of patient documentation.
  • A strong commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience utilizing modern therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Background in working with clients experiencing severe mental health challenges, including co-occurring disorders.
