Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students’ mental health concerns and strengths, utilizing online assessment tools for efficiency.
  • Provide individualized, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused therapy.
  • Collaborate with educational professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each student’s academic and emotional needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings to ensure cohesive delivery of care across all facets of a student’s well-being.
  • Offer crisis intervention services and implement safety plans as necessary during critical situations, ensuring timely support for students in distress.
  • Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using practice management software.
  • Lead group therapy sessions, psychoeducational workshops, and support groups aimed at equipping students with coping strategies and fostering resilience.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on providing mental health support to students in a school setting. Our diverse clientele includes children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related disorders. You will be instrumental in creating a safe space for students to explore their feelings and emotions while developing effective strategies for managing their mental health.

Qualifications
  • Hold a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Possess an active Pennsylvania state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Have at least two years of professional experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting, ideally within school systems.
  • Demonstrate a strong grasp of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a passion for working with youth.
