Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to collect pertinent information regarding clients' mental health issues, personal strengths, and available resources.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans outlining specific goals and necessary interventions for clients.
  • Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention by assessing risks and creating safety plans tailored to at-risk clients.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation according to ethical standards and legal requirements.
  • Lead group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, fostering a sense of community and support among clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a wide range of clients facing various mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related challenges. Qualifications
  • A master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
  • Active LCSW licensure in the state of Kansas.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting.
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate trust and genuine connections with clients.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional years of practice in specific therapeutic modalities or specialized settings will be favorably considered. Experience in crisis intervention and managing complex cases will also add to your candidacy. Strong knowledge of community resources and the ability to navigate healthcare systems effectively will be beneficial in this role.
