Work EnvironmentThis position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while working with students and their families. The role primarily involves interaction with educational institutions and their surrounding communities, focusing on enhancing mental health support within school settings. While standard work hours run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, occasional evening or weekend hours may be necessary to accommodate specific client needs and maintain continuity in care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and familial factors that impact their well-being.
- Collaborate with students, families, and educational staff to create tailored care plans that target individual goals and preferences.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
- Act as an advocate for students’ rights, making referrals to community resources and ensuring they access needed services and support.
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team of educators, nurses, and mental health professionals to enhance student care and support.
- Engage in regular follow-ups to monitor students’ progress, adjusting care plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
- Facilitate family meetings to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and build collaborative relationships among all stakeholders involved in the student's care.
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards of social work.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
- A minimum of two years of experience in social work, particularly within a community clinic or educational setting.
- Solid understanding of child and adolescent development, along with the psychosocial issues impacting youth today.
- Demonstrated capability in developing individualized care plans and utilizing therapeutic approaches effectively.
