This role is structured around a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in meeting client needs while maintaining an effective work-life balance. The position typically operates within a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with some evenings and weekends required as needed for client appointments. Working from home, you will connect with clients via secure telehealth platforms, while collaborating with fellow mental health professionals to enhance comprehensive care.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments that evaluate clients' mental health needs, drawing from a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals and utilize appropriate interventions.
• Provide therapy sessions including individual counseling, couple's therapy, and group sessions while employing a variety of therapeutic modalities suitable for diverse client needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records that adhere to legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
• Engage actively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, participating in case conferences and supervision meetings.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support and resources to clients in distress.

As an LMHC, your role will be critical in establishing rapport and building trusting relationships with clients, enabling them to discuss sensitive issues openly and honestly.

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts is required.
• An accredited Bachelor's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field.
• At least one year of experience working in mental health counseling or similar roles.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of fostering meaningful connections with clients.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical practices and protecting client confidentiality.

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Knowledge of multimodal therapy approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions.
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
