Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments that evaluate clients' mental health needs, drawing from a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals and utilize appropriate interventions.
  • Provide therapy sessions including individual counseling, couple's therapy, and group sessions while employing a variety of therapeutic modalities suitable for diverse client needs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records that adhere to legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
  • Engage actively within multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, participating in case conferences and supervision meetings.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support and resources to clients in distress.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts is required.
  • An accredited Bachelor's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field.
