This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your workday while maintaining regular business hours, with occasional evening and weekend commitments required for special events and programs. The role is designed to be primarily home-based, providing a supportive atmosphere for the employee to effectively perform their responsibilities and take part in virtual team meetings and collaborative projects.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, identifying their unique social, emotional, and psychological needs to formulate personalized support strategies.
• Provide individual and group counseling utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, addressing issues like trauma, grief, and interpersonal conflicts.
• Develop, implement, and monitor service plans that align with clients' goals, ensuring regular evaluation of progress towards desired outcomes.
• Act as an advocate for clients, helping them navigate access to resources and addressing relevant social justice concerns by connecting them with appropriate community services.
• Contribute to program development, evaluation, and grant reporting processes, ensuring that services are effective and aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to strengthen service delivery and outreach capabilities.
• Engage in ongoing team meetings, professional training sessions, and community outreach activities to foster community engagement and continuous learning.

The LCSW will primarily work with clients from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing a range of challenges, including mental health issues, grief, chronic illness, and socio-economic hardships. As part of a hospice center, the focus will also include providing support for those facing end-of-life issues, emphasizing empathy, dignity, and respect throughout the counseling process.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to effectively manage client relationships and collaborate with team members.

• Previous experience in a nonprofit organization or similar social service setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of community resources and ability to connect clients with necessary services.
• Ability to implement and contribute to client-centered programs that promote social empowerment and justice.
