• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health and emotional needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare providers.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of patients in a detoxification setting.
• Engage in crisis management and intervention, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and training sessions, potentially assisting in the orientation of new staff as needed.
• Occasionally cover and provide support to other facilities when requested by management, ensuring uninterrupted care for patients.

The primary client focus for this position centers on individuals undergoing detoxification as part of substance use disorder treatment. Our patients often face various challenges related to addiction, mental health disorders, and trauma. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will employ trauma-informed care principles and work to create a supportive atmosphere that fosters healing and recovery for each patient.

• Master’s degree in Social Work is required.
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Pennsylvania is mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other professionals.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems and telehealth technology to manage patient records and conduct virtual sessions.

• A minimum of three years of experience in outpatient counseling or behavioral health settings is preferred.
• Experience working within medical or detoxification environments enhances applicable skills and knowledge.
• Prior involvement with interdisciplinary teams is beneficial for collaborative approaches in patient care.
