Job Overview

PlanetArt is seeking a Product Manager, Web to support the company's Web R&D organization. This role will work closely with the Director of Product Development to drive the planning, execution, optimization, and tracking of web initiatives across PlanetArt's ecommerce platforms.
The ideal candidate combines strong product ownership, technical fluency, ecommerce expertise, and analytical thinking with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. This individual will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, QA, Marketing, Creative, Content, and Analytics teams to deliver scalable customer experiences that improve conversion, engagement, and revenue growth.
The Product Manager will act as the business owner for their websites, leveraging data, experimentation, and customer insights to guide roadmap decisions and optimize the end-to-end user journey.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Calabasas area as we operate on a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 remote)
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive web Product initiatives from ideation through launch (0-1) and ongoing optimization, acting as the business owner for assigned ecommerce experiences
  • Monitor website performance, conversion funnels, customer engagement, analytics, and revenue metrics to identify growth opportunities and drive data-informed product decisions
  • Lead ecommerce optimization efforts including A/B testing, checkout flow improvements, landing page optimization, personalization, and customer journey enhancements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, QA, Marketing, Creative, Content, and Analytics teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality customer experiences
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with distributed teams across multiple time zones while managing stakeholder communication, prioritization, and alignment
  • Define project scope, business requirements, timelines, and success metrics while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and delivery execution
  • Partner with development and QA teams to ensure release quality, defect resolution, and successful product launches
  • Create and maintain product documentation, workflows, and release tracking in Confluence and Jira
  • Balance customer experience, technical feasibility, scalability, and business objectives in product and roadmap decisions

What You Should Have
Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

  • 3+ years technical project management experience required
  • Technical understanding of mobile/web technologies, platforms, and development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with QA and testing practices for mobile/web applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of audiences including technologists, executives, business partners and IT team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-departmentally
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Analytics, Information Technology or related field of study


Bonus Qualifications

  • Ability to leverage AI tools to rapidly create prototypes, workflows, mockups, and proof-of-concepts for engineering handoff
  • Experience with AI-assisted product development workflows and rapid iteration methodologies
  • Familiarity with tools such as Optimizely, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, FullStory, or similar experimentation and behavioral analytics platforms
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies for ecommerce websites
  • Exposure to personalization, recommendation systems, or customer segmentation strategies
  • Experience in high-scale consumer ecommerce direct-to-consumer (DTC) and/or (Business to Business) B2B environments

Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 annual salary.
