Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a UI/UX/ Product Designer with experience with Salesforce to support KITS and our government customer. The position is remote. This position requires the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

UI/UX Designer with experience with Salesforce to join our team. The UI/UX Designer will be instrumental in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong design portfolio, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, and proficiency in Salesforce platform customization.  

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:
The UI/UX Designer with Salesforce experience will be responsible for designing user interfaces, prototypes, and wireframes for Salesforce applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user requirements
  • Creating user-centric designs that enhance usability and user experience within Salesforce applications
  • Developing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts
  • Working closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency with Salesforce platform standards
  • Conducting usability testing and gathering user feedback to iterate on designs
  • Implementing Salesforce customizations and configurations to achieve the desired user interface
  • Ensuring design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all Salesforce applications

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with specific experience in Salesforce design
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design projects, specifically in Salesforce environments
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and Lightning Components
  • Proficiency in HTML, Front-End Dev CSS experience, and JavaScript for design implementation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

Security Requirement:

  • Ability to obtain public trust clearance
