Job Description

We are looking for an AI Experience Designer to design and deliver human-centered AI interaction experiences including prompts workflows, feedback loops, and AI-enabled tools. This position will be full-time and remote .

What You'll Do

  • Design the interaction layer for AI systems including prompts workflows feedback loops escalation paths and human override mechanisms
  • Own end user experience design for agentic AI systems copilot tools and AI augmented workflows from concept through deployment
  • Translate AI architecture into intuitive and trusted user experiences that drive adoption across business users
  • Collaborate with Applied AI Architects and cross functional teams to align AI solutions to real world workflows and user needs
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements validate use cases and test interaction models
  • Design onboarding experiences and adoption pathways to support AI enablement across the organization
  • Develop prompt frameworks and contribute to prompt engineering standards and best practices
  • Create user facing materials including playbooks guides and workflow documentation
  • Monitor adoption signals gather feedback and continuously improve AI experiences
  • Produce design artifacts such as wireframes journey maps workflow diagrams and interaction flows while ensuring alignment with governance and compliance requirements

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design product design service design or a related human centered discipline
  • Experience designing AI powered or AI augmented products and workflows
  • Hands on experience with prompt engineering for large language models in real world environments
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to design multi step AI workflows and human AI interaction models
  • Experience driving adoption and behavior change not just usability
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and business audiences
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma Miro or similar platforms
  • Ability to produce clear and actionable design artifacts in fast moving environments
  • Experience designing accessible solutions aligned to WCAG standards
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred:

  • Experience designing AI solutions within enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with agentic AI systems and human in the loop interaction models
  • Experience using tools such as ChatGPT Microsoft Copilot or similar in a professional setting
  • Background in change management organizational design or learning experience design
  • Familiarity with public sector or regulated environments including FedRAMP or NIST
  • Experience building scalable design systems prompt libraries or reusable interaction patterns
  • Experience working in consulting or professional services delivery models

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.

$120,000 - $135,000 per year

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
