Work EnvironmentThis position is designed to be remote, supporting the dynamic needs of a private school setting in Islip, New York. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts to ensure comprehensive mental health coverage for students. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough mental health assessments, taking into account each student's personal background, current issues, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with students to develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing their mental health challenges and promoting emotional stability.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy to effectively support students.
