A family owned and operated company, now in its second generation, Innovations is located in the heart of SoHo in New York City.
Innovations is looking for a Regional Sales Manager that will be responsible for the sales growth and overall performance of the East Coast territory by providing leadership across the region's sales network, including independent sales representatives, independent showrooms, and company-operated sales teams. This role requires a strong understanding of the interior design industry and the ability to lead, support, and align multiple sales partners toward common regional objectives.
This is a remote position requiring frequent travel and must be based in a major design market such as New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington DC or similar territory. Travel is expected to average approximately 50% annually.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth across the East Coast territory through coordinated leadership of all regional sales channels.
  • Provide leadership and strategic support to independent sales representatives, independent showroom partners, and company sales representatives and showrooms.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation and sales execution across all regional sales partners.
  • Conduct regular territory reviews to evaluate performance, opportunities, and market coverage.
  • Build strong relationships with key architecture and interior design firms throughout the region.
  • Increase specification activity across hospitality, commercial, and residential design segments.
  • Support sales partners in securing project opportunities and strengthening key client relationships.
  • Conduct regular market visits, rep-accompanied appointments, showroom visits, and client presentations.
  • Provide product training, sales guidance, and strategic support to sales partners.
  • Monitor regional market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to leadership regarding product positioning and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to support product launches and regional initiatives.
  • Represent Innovations at industry events, client presentations, and networking opportunities.
Job Requirements
  • 7-10+ years of sales experience within the interior design, architectural, or building materials industry.
  • Experience working with independent sales representatives and/or showroom distribution networks is preferred.
  • Strong relationships within the architecture and interior design community.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth across a multi-state territory.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align multiple sales partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking combined with strong organizational and execution abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout the territory.

Candidates must be based in a major design market with strong access to the architecture and design community and a major airport, such as:

Other comparable metropolitan design markets may be considered.
Travel
Frequent travel throughout the territory is required for rep visits, showroom visits, client meetings, and industry events.
