Bankruptcy Staff Attorney (Creditor's Rights Litigation)

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 50 firm seeking a Bankruptcy Staff Attorney to join its Finance & Bankruptcy practice. This non-partnership-track opportunity is available in Orange County, Century City, Los Angeles, San Diego (Del Mar), San Diego, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley. The firm is seeking an attorney with 6–10+ years of bankruptcy and litigation experience. Full-time, part-time, and primarily remote arrangements are available for California-based candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Handle complex bankruptcy litigation and creditors' rights matters
  • Represent lenders, financial institutions, equity groups, landlords, equipment lessors, and real estate developers
  • Manage litigation matters with a high level of independence
  • Advise clients on conventional and non-conventional financing disputes
  • Collaborate with a nationally recognized Finance & Bankruptcy team
Qualifications
  • 6–10+ years of bankruptcy and creditors' rights litigation experience
  • Experience representing financial institutions and commercial creditors
  • Strong litigation, analytical, and case management skills
