• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and environmental challenges through interviews, questionnaires, and client histories.
• Develop detailed service plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, incorporating clear goals, intervention strategies, and methods for progress monitoring.
• Provide individual and family counseling utilizing evidence-based therapeutic practices that empower clients to overcome life obstacles.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies, including risk assessments and safety planning, ensuring the immediate safety and well-being of all clients.
• Collaborate with community organizations and social service agencies to connect clients with essential resources and advocate for their needs effectively.
• Participate in outreach efforts to inform the community about available services and foster partnerships with other local organizations.
• Regularly engage in team meetings, participate in continuing education, and contribute to a supportive and enriching team environment.

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health crises, families dealing with trauma, and people experiencing socio-economic hardships. • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on cultural competence and empathetic engagement.

• Professional experience within a social service or mental health setting, particularly working with diverse and underserved populations.
• Familiarity with community resources available in Joliet, IL, and surrounding areas.
• Prior experience in case management or crisis intervention preferred.

The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on your qualifications and experience.
