Job Overview:

Network Optimization Senior Manager

The ideal candidate will be based in Frisco, TX

The Network Optimization Sr. Manager will use their deep understanding of the present and open vision of the future to support the Network Optimization Director to develop and execute KDP’s end-to-end long-range network optimization strategy. This role will be responsible for assessing current DSD and Supply Chain operations and coordinating with cross-functional partners to accurately build and maintain a twin of those operations inside the network modeling tool (GAINS). They will then use the GAINS model to assess the ability of the network to operate under various demand profiles and determine the most efficient way to address gaps.

This role requires a Supply Chain and DSD expert who understands the complex interplay of demand, transportation, inventory, and warehouse capacity and can envision the changes needed to meet business needs 5+ years in the future. The candidate will translate high-level operational improvement concepts and strategic proposals into discrete data requirements, assumptions, and calculation logic to develop modeling scenarios. Significant executive-level interfacing, cross-functional partnership, and strategic analysis prime this highly visible role for growth.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in demand planning, logistics, Supply Chain warehousing/RDC strategy, and DSD operations. Strategic vision, data-driven decision making, attention to detail, complex project management, and cross-functional collaboration will be paramount to success. Familiarity with network optimization software (GAINS/Llamasoft) and ability to use SQL is a plus.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Translate operational concepts into modeling requirements – bridge the gap between high-level ideas and complex network modeling requirements
  • Collaborate cross functionally - work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure mutual success
  • Manage stakeholder engagement – strategize throughout DSD operations, SC logistics, and demand planning leadership
  • Drive value – utilize fact-based decision making to add value across the organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships – build a network of trusted leaders to ensure individual success

Ability to Successfully Demonstrate the Following Competencies:

  • Innovative and transformative thinking
  • Strategic vision and data-driven decision making
  • Analytical capability and data modeling
  • Collaboration and adaptability
  • Effective communication
  • Change management and ability to influence

Total Rewards:
  • $125,000-$145,000 / year
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to eligibility, and collective bargaining agreements (where applicable): Medical, Dental and Vision, Paid Time Off, 401(k) program with employer match, Child & Elder Care, Adoption Benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Fertility Benefits, Employee Resource Groups, Breastmilk Shipping Services, Dependent Scholarship Program, Tuition Reimbursement, Education Assistance, Employee Assistance Program, Personalized Wellness Platform, Mileage Reimbursement and more!
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and/or 8 years’ work experience in CPG
  • Similar work experience in a complex warehouse and delivery RTM
  • Proven success in leading high impact projects in a cross-functional setting
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tools like Excel, Power BI, and GAINS/LLamasoft
  • Excellent stakeholder communication capability with considerable experience presenting via PowerPoint
  • Must be able to travel for full weeks and up to 25% of the time if remote
  • Experience working in a Direct Store Delivery network is highly desirable
