What is a remote W2?

A Remote W2 job is a position where you work remotely as a W-2 employee of a company. As a W-2 employee, your employer withholds taxes, provides benefits if offered, and follows labor laws. Unlike independent contractors, W-2 employees typically receive health insurance, paid time off, and other benefits. This setup provides more job security and employer support compared to 1099 contract work.

How does being a W2 employee impact my work structure when working remotely?

As a Remote W2 employee, you are legally considered an employee of the company rather than an independent contractor, which means you'll typically have set hours, receive company benefits (if offered), and have taxes withheld from your paycheck. Your work structure will likely involve clear expectations, regular check-ins, and access to company resources and training for your professional development. You'll collaborate virtually with your team using communication and project management tools, ensuring you're integrated into the company's workflow and culture. This arrangement provides additional stability and support compared to freelance or 1099 roles while still offering the flexibility of remote work.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the remote W2 position, and why are they important?

To thrive in a Remote W2 role, professionals need strong self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and solid experience in their specific job function, such as customer service, IT, or accounting. Familiarity with remote collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and cloud-based software relevant to the field is typically required, along with basic understanding of payroll and tax documentation for W2 employees. Time management, adaptability, and independent problem-solving are essential soft skills for those working remotely. These abilities are vital for maintaining productivity, ensuring compliance, and fostering effective teamwork in a virtual environment.

Why Join House of Hearts ABA?

Because we’re more than just a therapy provider—we’re building a movement.

At House of Hearts ABA, we lead with empathy, deliver with excellence, and support our team like family. We're growing fast and intentionally, and we’re looking for dedicated, mission-aligned BCBAs who want to do meaningful work and be valued for it.

What We Offer:

$90–$105 per hour (based on experience and caseload)
Completely remote work model – flexibility without sacrificing impact
PTO and scheduled holidays
Flexible scheduling built around your life

  • Ethics & Excellence: Stay aligned with BACB guidelines, payer policies, and compliance standards.

  • Growth Support: Play a role in expanding our reach and improving systems as we grow into new regions.

✅ Have 2+ years of ABA experience (home/school-based a plus!)
✅ Thrive in a supportive, collaborative, mission-driven culture
✅ Love creating real impact for families—and feeling valued for it
✅ Believe in excellence, empathy, and accountability
✅ Are looking for more than just a job—you’re looking for a place to belong and grow

Let’s Build Something Great Together

If you’re tired of burnout, red tape, or feeling like you’re on an island—come join us. We’re redefining what an ABA company can be, and we want you to be part of it.

Apply today. The best team you’ve ever worked with is waiting.
