Job description


  • Position: Senior Analyst, Feasibility & Underwriting
  • Base Salary: $105,000 - $125,000 (Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and market alignment)
  • Bonus: Up to 10% Annual incentive plan tied to performance metrics
  • Work Type: 100% Remote within the USA
  • Remote Location: Open to any location within USA. However, candidates should be willing to align with Central Time business hours.
  • Travel: Up to 10% travel for meetings, leadership development, community engagement, and market-related activities
  • Job Type: Individual Contributor, Full-Time, Permanent
  • Leadership & Team Structure: This position reports to VP of Feasibility & Underwriting
  • Independent Contributor Role: This position does not have direct reports (including administrative support, analysts, or coordinators). The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient, hands-on professional who can effectively manage priorities, execute projects independently, and drive results with minimal oversight.

Position Summary: Drive the financial and market analysis behind new management contracts, acquisitions, and third-party deal pursuits. Partner with Development, Operations, and Finance to assess deal viability and support go/no-go decisions across the hotel portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain detailed feasibility studies and underwriting models (STR/market data, ADR/RevPAR projections, demand segmentation, comp set analysis)
  • Prepare full P&L pro formas, cash flow projections, and IRR/NPV/cap rate analyses for prospective management contracts and acquisitions
  • Evaluate market fundamentals - supply pipeline, demand generators, competitive positioning - for new and existing markets
  • Support due diligence on third-party management pursuits, including brand fit, contract terms, and capex requirements
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and ownership groups/investment committees
  • Maintain and refine underwriting templates, market data sources, and benchmarking tools

Qualifications
  • 3+ years in hotel feasibility, underwriting, acquisitions, or asset management (brokerage, REIT, PE, or management company background)
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills; STR, CoStar/CBRE Hotels, or similar market data tools
  • Strong grasp of hotel operating structures, management/franchise agreements, and third-party ownership dynamics
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality, or related field (MBA a plus)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication for owner- and investor-facing deliverables

  • Physical Requirements (In-Office Role)
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. (6-8 hours a day)
  • Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
