Position Information
Job Title Adjunct Art History Instructor Location Yuba College - Marysville, CA. Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION:
Develop and deliver instructional lectures for Art courses up to 10 hours/week
Organize and teach all levels of Art classes
Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning;
Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses;
Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester;
Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired

REQUIRED DUTIES:

Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Essential Duties Summary Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's in art history, history of art and architecture, or visual culture/visual studies OR
Bachelor's in art history AND Master's in history OR
Master's in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history OR
The equivalent
