We are looking for an experienced Lead Front-End Engineer to join our growing team at Surefront. This person has to love the startup grind and hustle of getting things done quickly, but also without sacrificing the longevity of the technology. You will regularly collaborate with the engineering leadership and product team to ensure optimal implementation of new features, and will contribute as part of a cross-functional agile development team. This comes with mentoring less experienced engineers, interviewing candidates, and selflessly doing whatever it takes to move the company forward. We strive for bigger and better and it's important to the company that you do too. This role will be remote to start and then will be flexibly based out of CA (once covid-19 situation subsides


Surefront is a cloud-based collaboration app built to bring retailers and suppliers together through Unified Collaboration Management (UCM). Our solution bridges ERPs, PLMs, PIMs and other enterprise systems with a streamlined solution that keeps all of your work in one place so you can save time better spent on growing sales and increasing margin.


Responsibilities

  • Meet with various stakeholders to review product requirements

  • Lead development for a React/Redux single page application

  • Make decisions on architecture, design patterns, and front-end libraries

  • Ensure codebase is properly tested

  • Perform code reviews and suggest improvements to the application based on the latest industry standards

  • Work alongside and effectively coordinate with other engineers on the team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional development experience

  • 3+ years React experience (or equivalent FE frameworks)

  • 1+ years of an active Leadership role

  • Be very strong with: React with Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript, Responsive design and implementation, HTML/CSS3, REST

  • Previous startup experience a plus

  • Fluent in English

  • CA permanent resident
