If you’re energized by unlocking uptime, cutting waste, and elevating process capability, this role is your stage. Lead the site’s Engineering, Maintenance, and Process Control functions to deliver safer, faster, more reliable production—while meeting AOP cost targets and advancing sustainability goals.

Novolex powers food, beverage, and specialty packaging for foodservice, delivery/carryout, food processing, grocery/retail, and industrial customers. We convert resin, paper, molded fiber, aluminum, and more into solutions spanning 120 product categories under 250 brands with 39,000+ SKUs.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Set direction and coach Engineering, Maintenance, and Process Control teams to maximize production volume at target cost.
  • Own the capital agenda: scope opportunities with plant partners, submit CARs, and lead project execution; manage capital and engineering expense budgets.
  • Ensure facilities and production equipment are maintained, reliable, and safe.
  • Provide hands-on engineering support that sustains day-to-day operations and accelerates improvement.
  • Translate manufacturing and technical initiatives into clear plans with strong communication and adoption.
  • Manage AOP budgets for technical salaries, building/grounds, maintenance materials, and utilities.
  • Guarantee environmental compliance and champion safety programs.
  • Recruit, develop, evaluate, and reward technical talent; address performance issues when required.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • BA/BS in Engineering preferred.
  • 6+ years in engineering with demonstrated project/process leadership and 3+ years in supervision.
  • Influential communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven problem solver who thrives amid shifting priorities.
  • Skilled with MS Office, AutoCAD, and MRP systems.
  • History of leading cross-functional projects to results.
