Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments through telehealth consultations to identify the mental health needs of patients, ensuring appropriate and individualized treatment plans are formulated.
• Deliver short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services to patients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
• Facilitate online therapy groups and workshops that focus on key topics impacting patient well-being, such as stress management, coping strategies, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical doctors, social workers, and external community organizations, to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address all aspects of a patient's health.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives and preventive efforts, including mental health awareness campaigns and virtual wellness events, to promote positive mental health practices.
• Maintain precise and confidential records of patient interactions while adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards, ensuring accuracy in documentation for ongoing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds, often facing unique challenges related to mental health. This role requires a strong understanding of common issues experienced by individuals seeking help in a hospital setting, including trauma, emotional distress, and significant life changes. The goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where patients can explore their feelings and work towards healing.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of the mental health issues affecting various patient populations, especially in crisis situations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for engaging effectively with patients and collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suited for a virtual counseling environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
