Job description

Position Overview

Camino Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd. is excited to announce openings for full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) in Los Angeles, California. This is a unique opportunity for dedicated professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact on clients' mental health from the comfort of their homes. Our organization is proud to provide flexible working hours and a supportive environment that emphasizes work-life balance, enabling our counselors to offer the best care to their clients while also taking care of their own personal needs.

About the Organization

At Camino Mental Healthcare, we are dedicated to providing high-quality outpatient mental health services. We understand the importance of mental health and the role of compassionate counseling in fostering emotional well-being. Our practice is rooted in a client-centered approach. We ensure our mental health professionals have all the necessary tools and resources to deliver exceptional care while working remotely. With a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative workplace, we utilize the latest technology to facilitate seamless communication between counselors and clients.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for optimal flexibility in scheduling while providing comprehensive support from our administrative and technological teams. As a member of our team, you will operate in a convenient outpatient setting that emphasizes community mental health and accessibility. You will conduct therapy via HIPAA-compliant video and messaging platforms, creating a safe space for clients to engage in meaningful dialogue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients through virtual video sessions to provide individualized therapeutic support aimed at enhancing mental health and well-being.
  • Facilitate discussions allowing clients to explore emotions, share their experiences, and gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
  • Act as a client advocate, helping them to articulate their goals and identify actionable steps to achieve them.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Utilize the organization’s all-in-one counseling dashboard to manage schedules, client communications, and documentation, ensuring that your focus remains on delivering high-quality care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work exclusively with a well-screened client population comprised of stable adults who present with low acuity mental health concerns. Our careful client matching process ensures that you are paired with individuals whose needs align with your areas of expertise and demographic preferences, allowing you to provide targeted, effective care without the challenges presented by more severely impacted patients.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Candidates must hold full licensure from the state board to practice independently without supervision, including one of the following licenses:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions on record.
Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants from varied backgrounds, previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting or offering teletherapy services is a plus. Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques will also be advantageous given our approach to client treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

Camino Mental Healthcare offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:

  • A sign-on bonus for new hires,
  • Flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance,
  • Minimized administrative burden, allowing you to focus on client care,
  • Unlimited referrals to maintain a consistent caseload,
  • Access to a comprehensive therapy platform for efficient client management and communication.
Career Growth Opportunities

As a member of our team, you will have access to continuous professional development opportunities, including training on the latest therapeutic techniques and methodologies. Our organizational structure encourages advancement within the company, and we are committed to promoting from within whenever possible, allowing for career progression that aligns with your aspirations.

If you are a compassionate mental health professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of your clients, while also benefiting from a supportive work environment that values your contributions, we invite you to apply to join our team. At Camino Mental Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to flourish in your career while enjoying the independence and flexibility of remote work.
