The primary focus of this role is working with elderly individuals who are experiencing psychological distress related to significant life changes, loss of loved ones, and the physical challenges of aging. Counselors will engage with clients who are residents of assisted living facilities, offering specialized support through individual and group settings to improve their emotional health.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting.
• Eligibility for licensure in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license in good standing is advantageous.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish trust with clients rapidly.
• A strong foundation in active listening and empathy while providing structured guidance.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Previous experience working with aging populations, particularly in telehealth settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices related to aging, grief, and loss.
• Experience in formulating treatment plans and delivering interventions in individual and group therapy formats.

The salary range for this full-time position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a sign-on bonus is available for the successful candidate.
