Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining a strong commitment to team collaboration and continuous professional development. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with fellow social workers and healthcare professionals, participating in regular virtual meetings and consultation sessions to ensure optimal care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Actively participate in the creation and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to the developmental needs of children.
  • Monitor progress in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that children receive the support they need.
  • Provide direct assistance to families, helping them navigate services and resources that benefit their child’s growth and development.
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations and best practices in social work and early intervention.
  • Establish trusting relationships with families, utilizing effective communication to create supportive learning environments.
  • Employ evidence-based practices within the Natural Learning Environment framework to promote child development.
  • Utilize coaching methodologies to educate families in natural settings, ensuring skills are reinforced in their everyday lives.
  • Safeguard the health and safety of clients and staff by following all established protocols.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on working with infants and toddlers experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. LCSWs will assess developmental milestones, implement interventions to facilitate language and social skills, and support families during these critical early years of life. Your expertise will help bridge connections for families and facilitate access to essential services.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Must hold a valid LCSW license from the Department of Public Health in Texas.
  • A valid driver's license is required to travel for client visits.
  • One year of experience working with children in early intervention environments is mandatory.
  • Commitment to adhering to Natural Learning Environment Practices in all interventions.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
