Work Environment

This role will operate within a community health clinic setting, allowing for a collaborative approach with other professionals dedicated to early intervention and family support. Although the position is remote, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that includes specialists in various fields. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand the developmental needs of children who may have delays or disabilities.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs). This includes recognizing family priorities and leveraging strengths to offer tailored support.
• Monitor progress and outcomes for children and families, ensuring proper adjustments to plans based on ongoing evaluations. Collaborate with the team to deliver cohesive care.
• Provide education and support to families, equipping them with skills and strategies to enhance their child's development in natural settings.
• Establish rapport with children and families to foster a trusting and conducive learning environment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices to inform interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and State regulations related to early intervention services.
• Administer assessments in a manner that is sensitive to the cultures and values of families served.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of interactions, assessments, and intervention strategies in line with organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily focus on supporting infants and toddlers facing developmental challenges. By providing early intervention services, you will play a critical role in helping young children develop physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills that are vital in the early years of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California.
• At least one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Demonstrated competence in adapting interventions to suit diverse learning styles.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills are essential.

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse community.
• Experience in implementing the coaching model and Natural Learning Environment Practices.
• Prior experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
