Our Licensed Clinical Social Worker will work from a climate-controlled office environment, enabling consistent productivity and collaboration with healthcare colleagues. This role allows for flexibility in remote work settings with daily interactions happening through virtual platforms and scheduled meetings with interdisciplinary team members. • Assess, diagnose, and evaluate patients’ mental health statuses utilizing the DSM-5 and other assessment tools, crafting individualized treatment plans that align with the unique needs of our diverse patient population.

• Continually monitor patient progress, actively providing therapeutic interventions and support based on the evolving needs associated with a cancer diagnosis.

• Document treatment plans, patient interactions, and clinical data meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational procedures while leveraging current technology.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to co-develop comprehensive treatment strategies that facilitate desired outcomes and address cultural diversity and specific health challenges.

• Work within a multidisciplinary team framework to pinpoint and implement safety measures and symptom management tactics essential to patient welfare.

• Serve as a connection between patients and external treatment resources, coordinating referrals efficiently to maximize patient support throughout their care journey.

• Provide mentorship and education to students and interns, fostering professional development within the mental health field, and support the team through peer reviews and collaborative efforts.

In this role, you will primarily engage with individuals and families experiencing the emotional and psychological challenges associated with cancer diagnoses. Your work will not only address mental health needs but also empower patients and their families to navigate the complexities of diagnosis and treatment, fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• Prior experience working in healthcare settings, particularly with oncology patients.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions tailored for complex cases related to chronic illness.
