Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day tasks will directly contribute to the recovery and well-being of individuals seeking help at our detox center. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional well-being of clients, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans that are grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to guide clients through their healing processes, providing them with tools to cope with their challenges.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, thereby protecting client confidentiality and upholding professional standards.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team—including psychiatrists, psychologists, and addiction specialists—to create a holistic approach to each client’s care.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer reviews to foster professional development and enhance the quality of service delivery.
• Providing educational support for clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and local resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus on clients residing within our detox center who are often experiencing complex emotional challenges related to substance use and mental health disorders. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, demonstrating your advanced knowledge and commitment to the field.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State, showcasing your professional qualifications.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, ideally involving work with detox or substance abuse treatment populations, will enable you to effectively address client needs.

Compensation and Benefits
