• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges to develop tailored intervention plans.
• Facilitate individual and family counseling sessions, employing evidence-based practices to support clients in overcoming adversities.
• Provide crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning to ensure the well-being of your clients.
• Develop comprehensive service plans, setting achievable goals and tracking progress over time to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a range of community organizations and agencies to coordinate services for clients, providing robust advocacy and support.
• Engage in outreach efforts to increase community awareness about the services offered by Oregon Medical Center and foster connections with potential clients.
• Participate actively in case conferences and collaborative team meetings, sharing insights and best practices with colleagues.
• Stay updated on legal and ethical guidelines concerning social work practices and maintain accurate client records to comply with all regulations.

This position will involve working primarily with school-aged children and their families, who may face a variety of challenges including but not limited to emotional disturbances, behavioral issues, and socioeconomic hardships. Your work will directly impact their academic success and personal development, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and effective communication skills are essential.
• Excellent cultural competence to provide equitable care to diverse populations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and effective time management.

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with social justice issues and community resource networks.
• Experience with evidence-based mental health interventions and case management practices.
