• Conduct individual therapy sessions via video chat, utilizing evidence-based techniques to aid clients in overcoming mental health challenges.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Abundant Health Care, you will predominantly work with stable adults experiencing low-acuity mental health issues. Our clients are carefully screened to ensure they align with our therapeutic capabilities, allowing counselors to provide effective and focused care without the challenges associated with severe mental health cases. • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current and valid state licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Full licensing, without any provisional qualifications or disciplinary actions, is required.
• Demonstrated ability to engage patients sympathetically and effectively, showcasing strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and capable of utilizing online platforms for therapy and record management.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of professional experience in a counseling role, where they have demonstrated the ability to create meaningful therapeutic relationships and effectively manage client caseloads. Experience in a remote counseling capacity is a plus, as it allows for a greater understanding of the virtual therapeutic environment.
