Social Media Sales Closer

Soto Growth Systems

Provo, UT • Remote

Full-time, Contractor

Posted 11 days ago

Job description

Soto Growth Systems and Provo SEO Pros are seeking a confident, consultative Remote Social Media Sales Closer to convert qualified business-owner conversations into closed sales through Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn direct messages.

This is a 1099 independent-contractor position paid entirely on commission: 10% of closed sales attributed to qualified conversations you manage and close. There is no salary, hourly wage, stipend, benefits, or guaranteed compensation. Earnings depend entirely on performance and closed sales.

You will receive qualified conversations from our lead-generation specialists, continue the conversation, understand the prospect's current situation and desired outcome, determine whether our services are a good fit, present an appropriate offer, answer questions, and guide qualified prospects through enrollment. The ideal candidate can sell without being pushy and can ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, identify genuine business needs, explain value clearly, and follow up professionally.

Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of qualified conversations handed off by lead-generation specialists.
• Read the complete conversation history before responding.
• Build trust through natural, professional, personalized communication.
• Conduct discovery about the prospect's current situation, desired outcome, obstacles, priorities, timing, and decision-making process.
• Determine whether the prospect is a strong fit and whether outside help is appropriate.
• Recommend the most appropriate Soto Growth Systems or Provo SEO Pros solution when there is a clear fit.
• Present offers accurately using approved materials and terms.
• Answer questions and objections without unsupported promises or guarantees.
• Follow up consistently using the approved CRM process.
• Maintain accurate notes, tags, tasks, pipeline stages, and opportunity updates in the CRM.
• Participate in training, role-play, coaching, and conversation-quality reviews.

What we are looking for:
• Experience in sales, closing, appointment setting, consulting, coaching, business development, or customer success.
• Strong written communication, listening, questioning, and discovery skills.
• Ability to sell through text-based conversations and direct messages.
• Confidence discussing price, value, timing, and next steps.
• Strong follow-through, judgment, attention to detail, and coachability.
• Comfort using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, CRM systems, and online communication tools.
• Experience selling marketing, SEO, websites, advertising, CRM, automation, consulting, coaching, or other business services is a plus.

Success means qualified conversations are processed promptly, prospects feel understood rather than pressured, offers are presented only when there is a clear fit, follow-ups occur on time, CRM records are accurate, and closed sales are generated while maintaining a positive prospect experience.

This is a fully remote contractor opportunity with training, ongoing coaching, qualified conversations supplied by lead-generation specialists, approved sales resources, and the opportunity to develop advanced skills in discovery, consultative selling, objection handling, and business-growth services.

Applicants should submit a short introduction, sales or business-development experience, types of products or services sold, experience with social-media messages, email, phone, or video sales, an example response to "I'm interested, but I need to think about it," weekly availability, and confirmation that they understand and accept the 1099 commission-only structure. Selected applicants may complete a written sales exercise and attend a brief Zoom interview.
