Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled video editor with strong experience in YouTube documentary-style content focused on military history, geopolitics, modern warfare, defense technology, and current events.


This is not a basic editing position. We are looking for someone who can visually explain complex military and geopolitical topics through map animations, motion graphics, data visualization, pacing, and storytelling.

You should understand how to keep viewers engaged on YouTube while helping simplify difficult concepts for a broad audience.


Responsibilities

  • Edit long-form YouTube videos (15–45+ minutes)
  • Create high-quality animated maps and battle movement graphics
  • Visually explain geopolitical and military concepts
  • Design graphics, charts, timelines, and data visualizations
  • Work with narration, archival footage, OSINT material, satellite imagery, and combat footage
  • Maintain strong pacing, retention, and storytelling throughout videos
  • Collaborate closely with the creator and production team
  • Meet weekly or bi-weekly production deadlines

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects
  • Strong motion graphics and animation skills
