Independent Marketing Video Editor Contractor

About AOTI

Advanced Oxygen Therapy, Inc. (AOTI) is transforming the future of wound care through breakthrough technologies that improve the lives of patients with chronic non-healing and acute complex wounds.

At the heart of our mission is our patented Topical Wound Oxygen (TWO2) therapy, the only device of its kind proven effective in both Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies.

As we continue to expand our digital marketing and educational content, AOTI is seeking a creative Marketing Video Editor to support the production of engaging, high-quality video content that educates healthcare professionals and strengthens our brand presence.


Independent Contractor Opportunity

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity and is not employment with Advanced Oxygen Therapy, Inc.

Contractors operate as independent businesses and are responsible for determining the manner, means, and methods used to provide contracted services, subject to applicable laws, patient requirements, and AOTI service standards.


Compensation

$25-$30 per hour, based on experience | Part-time | Remote

Contractors are responsible for all applicable taxes and business expenses other than those specifically reimbursed by AOTI.

Scope of Services

Contractors engaged by AOTI may provide services including:

  • Editing raw video footage into polished, engaging short-form videos optimized primarily for LinkedIn.
  • Creating videos featuring talking-head footage, supporting graphics, captions, and branded visual elements.
  • Performing video editing including cutting, trimming, pacing, color correction, audio cleanup, and subtitle creation.
  • Designing and incorporating light motion graphics, including animated lower-thirds, title cards, text callouts, transitions, and simple animated diagrams.
  • Creating and integrating graphics using Canva, including logos, charts, data callouts, and citation overlays while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Delivering final video files along with all required editable project files.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with messaging, branding, and project objectives.
  • Maintaining accuracy when editing medical, scientific, and technical content.

Contractor Responsibilities

Independent contractors are expected to:

  • Produce high-quality video content that meets agreed-upon timelines.
  • Follow AOTI's brand guidelines and creative direction.
  • Maintain consistency across multiple video projects and content series.
  • Deliver editable Adobe Premiere Pro project files with all linked or packaged assets.
  • Provide editable Canva files or shared access to Canva templates used in production.
  • Communicate project status and respond to revision requests in a timely manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year + of professional video editing experience.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro for professional video editing.
  • Proficiency with Canva for graphic creation and brand asset development.
  • Experience creating content for LinkedIn or other social media platforms.
  • Experience with motion graphics and simple animation.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn video specifications and captioning best practices.
  • Experience working with healthcare, medical, scientific, or technical content is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Proficiency in Canva.
  • Reliable computer and internet connection capable of supporting remote video editing.
  • Ability to deliver fully editable Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva source files with each completed project.
