Job Description
The Vice President - Sales is responsible for defining and delivering against a sales strategy for the allocated territory, building and leading a high performing sales team, to deliver against our growth goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy
  • Create a sales strategy for the allocated market territory to build on our successes and achieve greater growth
  • Participate with sales leadership to build a sustainable and differentiated plan that enables us to win more $10m+ global RPO contracts
  • Identify and track targeted accounts, ensuring alignment to our sectors and business priorities
  • Ensure our value proposition and sales strategy remains closely aligned with the business needs, balanced against market expectations.

Sales management and execution
  • Create and lead a high performing sales team, focusing on effective performance, allocation of responsibilities, coaching and development
  • Implement cadences for reporting, reviews, team collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Ensure effective implementation of Cielo sales policies and processes (e.g. Sales Playbook, deal desk, Salesforce and growth tech stack usage etc)
  • Collaborate with colleagues to consult on changes to sales policy and process
  • Review pipeline and take appropriate action to ensure appropriate progress in the pipeline; provide business updates on progress, escalate concerns
  • Manage large, complex sales deals through to close
  • Create and manage to budget
  • Act as a thought leader in the industry; forge relationships with key people.
  • Work with bid and solutions to create innovative approaches that drive business value; participate in sales pitches and events

Partnership Initiatives
  • Partner closely with Sector MD's and other members of client services
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across Revenue Operations
  • Provide insights into the Americas markets to colleagues
  • Actively participate as a member of the Global Leadership Team
  • Seek cross selling opportunities and collaborate with colleagues as appropriate

Qualifications
Position Requirements
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:
  • Significant experience in successfully winning complex, multi-country RPO contracts
  • Proven track record of managing a team of successful sales professionals
  • Experience building relationships with senior level stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Experience of building a sales strategy
