Job description

Virtual Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)

Location: Louisiana
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Employment: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Position Overview

This position is designed for a licensed clinician who is comfortable managing an ongoing caseload in a virtual practice. Most of the work takes place through scheduled video appointments, with time set aside for case follow-up and clinical records. You'll have the independence to manage your daily caseload while working within established clinical procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled individual therapy appointments through telehealth
  • Review new referrals and complete required intake information
  • Determine appropriate treatment goals and interventions
  • Provide clinical support within your professional scope
  • Complete risk screenings and follow established procedures for concerns
  • Prepare referrals when services outside your scope are indicated
  • Communicate with other providers regarding coordinated care
  • Participate in clinical consultations and team discussions
  • Complete progress notes and maintain electronic health records
  • Follow Louisiana licensing, privacy, and professional requirements

Requirements

  • Active Louisiana license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPC) in good standing
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or related field
  • Experience delivering psychotherapy in an outpatient setting
  • Comfort with telehealth technology and electronic documentation
