POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role requires a detail-oriented and motivated BIM and VDC Coordinator to support customer interactions, perform BIM classification processes, and implement updates to progress and deviation analysis data. This remote role requires strong English communication skills and a solid technical knowledge of BIM and VDC workflows in the field of buildings construction. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful setup and maintenance of progress reporting and deviation analysis deliverables, working closely with customers, external services and internal teams to deliver high-quality results. This is a remote position.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
Customer Communication and Collaboration:
  • Actively participate in customer communications and interactions to understand project requirements and provide ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

BIM Classification and Coordination:
  • Perform and coordinate regular updates of BIM classification and schedule ingestion for the duration of the project.
  • Ensure that all BIM data is properly classified and meets project-specific requirements.

Progress Reporting, Project Setup and Updates:
  • Perform and coordinate the project setup process, which includes a multi-week consulting period to classify the BIM and ensure proper integration.
  • Perform recurring updates approximately once a week to maintain the accuracy and relevance of multiple progress data analysis reports.

Desired Skills
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • 4+ years of experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) or BIM-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows and classification processes in the field of building construction.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in BIM and VDC tools, software and platforms, primarily in Revit and Navisworks, as well as reality capture practices such as 360 photos and LIDAR scanning.
