• Conduct detailed assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans that address both chronic and acute mental health issues.
• Document clinical interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and keeping accurate records of patient progress.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to establish the most effective therapeutic approaches, aligning with the clinical team's recommendations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support and intervention strategies tailored to individual client needs.
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of care and ensure organizational compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison to relevant state agencies, community partners, and service systems as needed, advocating for client needs and program visibility.
• Communicate openly with team members and stakeholders to create efficient pathways for support, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and promoting Mind Care Counseling Center's mission.
• Develop relationships with both public and private agencies to secure partnerships and funding that can expand our services and program offerings.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and relevant training to enhance your expertise and contribute to the agency's knowledge base.
• Promote and embody the agency’s mission, values, and principles on a day-to-day basis while performing related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

The clients you will support are diverse in their backgrounds and experiences, requiring a nuanced understanding of various mental health conditions and socio-economic factors. You will work specifically with individuals seeking assistance for emotional distress, substance use challenges, and developmental or cognitive impairments. Your role will be critical in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journeys and achieve a greater depth of personal empowerment.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An independent LMHC license in Massachusetts is essential; candidates currently licensed in other states will receive support for licensure transfer fees.

• Experience in outpatient counseling settings, particularly with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in conducting evidence-based assessments and treatment methodologies.
• Experience in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams as well as community outreach and engagement.
