Valor Center for Mental and Behavioral Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide essential mental health support and counseling to individuals and families. This role is uniquely positioned within an outpatient office setting that emphasizes a collaborative and supportive approach. While the primary work setting is remote, our therapists are integral parts of a dynamic team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and case managers. The Valor Center prioritizes flexible scheduling, enabling therapists to accommodate their clients' needs effectively. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify clients’ mental health issues and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Design and implement tailored therapy programs, drawing from evidence-based practices, to address each client's specific challenges and aspirations.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and experiences.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care, sharing insights and strategies that support client recovery.
• Provide educational resources and support to clients’ families, guiding them through the therapeutic process and helping them understand the challenges faced by their loved ones.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards to protect client privacy.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Possess a strong capacity for empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental perspective toward clients and their experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to effectively balance clinical duties and administrative tasks.

• Prior experience in individual and family therapy settings, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Experience working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams in outpatient care environments.
