• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, documenting detailed case histories and progress throughout the treatment journey.
• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health conditions using evidence-based assessment tools and methodologies.
• Develop individualized and group intervention plans that reflect best practices and are tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions designed to teach coping mechanisms, enhance self-awareness, and promote recovery.
• Monitor the ongoing progress of clients through regular check-ins and adjustments to their treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, educators, and healthcare staff to create comprehensive intervention strategies.
• Stay connected with psychiatrists and other medical personnel for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery, providing proactive strategies to mitigate behaviors that hinder mental wellness.
• Support family members and caregivers by equipping them with tools and techniques to manage challenges related to their loved ones' mental health.

Your primary focus will be on helping individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds, addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship difficulties and trauma. You will engage with clients experiencing complex mental health challenges, ensuring that each receives appropriate support through culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care.

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
• Robust written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate thoughts compassionately and effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities and a commitment to fostering trusting relationships with clients.

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical or community health setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR or similar platforms, to manage client data efficiently.
• A deep understanding of mental health conditions, including their relationships with physical health issues and co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines.
• Competence in understanding interventions related to psychotropic medication management.

The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
