About the Role:

The Sales Engineer also known as Technical Sales Engineer or Applications Engineer role, is a full-time remote position focused on driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across the U.S. This role blends technical expertise with consultative selling, supporting customers in identifying, evaluating, and implementing test and measurement, acoustic, and vibration solutions. The position is ideal for professionals who can effectively communicate with engineers and decision-makers while delivering value through technical insight and solution-based sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for test and measurement, acoustic analysis, and vibration monitoring solutions
  • Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate products and system solutions
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and application-focused sales engagements
  • Support customers, distributors, and key accounts throughout evaluation, validation, and purchasing processes
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, product management, and sales teams to communicate market needs and customer feedback
  • Contribute to product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy using customer insights and application knowledge
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers in industrial, environmental, and safety-related sectors
  • Participate in trade shows, on-site customer visits, and industry events to generate leads and expand brand awareness
  • Manage sales pipeline activities including prospecting, forecasting, and closing technical sales opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, applications engineering, or field engineering roles
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with sensors, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, test and measurement equipment, acoustics, or vibration analysis
  • Proven ability to translate customer challenges into effective technical and commercial solutions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong presentation, problem-solving, and consultative selling skills
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, training, and business development activities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial instrumentation, environmental monitoring, occupational safety, or noise control applications
  • Familiarity with signal processing, condition monitoring systems, or hardware-based measurement technologies
