Job Description Centurion is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Reporting Analyst/Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions that provide valuable business insights across multiple units. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Report Builder, and Visual Studio, along with a strong ability to bridge the gap between business processes and business intelligence.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver optimized data visualization and reporting solutions that drive smarter business decisions. This position is remote, but the person must be located in Virginia. Key Responsibilities Work with business stakeholders, business analysts, and engineers to understand data and reporting problems and opportunities and develop appropriate data reporting solutions Gather business requirements and convert them into data requirements and reports specifications, including process definitions, and changes required.

Design reporting solutions to include reports, dashboards, scorecards and tabular data based on the type of requirement. Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Utilize Visual studio to create and deploy SSRS reports.

Utilize Report Builder to create and deploy SSRS reports. Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to support reporting needs. Analyze report requests to ensure they align with business needs rather than assumed requirements.

Identify redundant or unnecessary data points in requested reports and recommend optimizations. Validate and reconcile data discrepancies across multiple sources. Debug and resolve errors in reports and queries.

Catalog and document current reporting. Perform complex data mining exercises independently and interprets results using a variety of analytical methods Identify, troubleshoot and close service requests for user issues related to data, reporting and analytics. Provide feedback and suggestions to management for process improvement and critical metrics Participate in projects and QA Testing Assist in the overall implementation and execution of project and performance criteria as required Excellent knowledge and experience conducting structured and result-oriented business data analysis and intermediate knowledge of Data Modeling are required for this job Expert hands-on experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) on Microsoft SQL Server development at advance level is a critical requirement for this position.

Excellent hands-on experience with Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS), and Report Builder is a must have requirement Excellent hands-on experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio for developing data and reporting solutions Prefers prior experience in either a technical or functional area that involved data analytics and report writing for a Mortgage/Financial institution Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
