Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Virginia

VocoVision is hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to K–12 students in Virginia. If you're passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and value the flexibility of working from home, this opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a remote school setting.

As a virtual SLP, you'll work closely with students, educators, and families using VocoVision's secure teletherapy platform to deliver high-quality speech and language services that support academic and personal success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual speech-language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and reassessments.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals while tracking student progress.
  • Complete accurate documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and service logs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, school administrators, and families to support student outcomes.
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and maintain consistent communication with school staff.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Comfortable providing therapy in a virtual environment and using teletherapy technology.
