Job description

Role: Laboratory Supply Chain Manager
Duration: 12 months - convert to hire
 Travel up to 50-75%
Experience : 5+ years


Role Description:
The lab specialist. Handles reagent/analyzer contracts, reference lab agreements, blood bank, POCT, specimen collection. Highly specialized — this is NOT a general clinical supply chain role.
What They Actually Do Day-to-Day
• Analyze reagent/analyzer contracts for renegotiation leverage and conversion opportunities
• Evaluate analyzer platform consolidation across 6 CHSLI hospitals
• Review reference laboratory contracts (send-out testing, esoteric testing, genetics)
• Assess blood bank utilization, product wastage, crossmatch ratios
• Conduct POCT program reviews for consolidation and vendor standardization
• Work with Lab Directors, Pathologists, Medical Directors, and Technical Supervisors

• Can speak the language of pathologists and lab directors
