As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Self Care Learning Counseling Center, you will undertake a range of responsibilities, including:

• Establishing and nurturing a trusting rapport with clients to create a safe therapeutic space.
• Diagnosing and treating various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that are customized to meet each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Conducting one-on-one sessions, facilitating group therapy, and leading family therapy interventions.
• Working with clients on a regular basis to adjust treatment plans based on their progress and evolving needs.
• Performing ongoing assessments to measure patient improvement and recommending referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and maintain accurate treatment records.

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, ranging from individuals seeking personal growth to families navigating complex dynamics. You will address a variety of mental health concerns through tailored therapeutic approaches. By promoting healthy coping mechanisms and communication skills, you will support clients in their journey toward mental wellness.

• Current state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Strong comprehension of applicable mental health regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Proven ability to create and maintain client-centered treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prior experience providing individual and group therapy as well as family therapy.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relational therapies, and other evidence-based practices.
• Experience in working with diverse populations and clients dealing with various mental health issues.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage caseload and administrative tasks.

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
