Job description

U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.
We are currently seeking an experienced Implementation Test Lead to help ensure the quality and reliability of a financial management system for a federal agency. By supporting the testing and deployment strategy, you will assist in replacing customized legacy infrastructure with a modern, managed SaaS platform. This role requires a strong background in system integration testing, UAT coordination, and test planning within the context of ERP or financial systems implementation.
Key Responsibilties:
  • Test Strategy & Execution: Develop and run an end-to-end testing strategy across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem (including Dataverse, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate) to make sure business processes work as intended.
  • Data Migration Quality Assurance: Create and execute test plans and scripts that verify data migration from legacy applications, minimizing errors during system cutover.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate across technical and functional teams, helping coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and reporting testing progress to keep project stakeholders informed.
Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship required (dual citizens are ineligible)
  • The position will require a Public Trust background investigation
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience leading software testing efforts within large-scale ERP or financial system implementations.
  • Experience consulting with external clients on complex projects, including in leadership roles
  • Experience coordinating UAT and collaborating with stakeholders to validate business processes
  • Familiarity with basic SQL and JSON/XML structures to validate data and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Practical experience with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including writing test scripts, managing defects, and coordinating UAT.
  • Familiarity with legacy system migration and data conversion strategies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and reporting skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, particularly within a US Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft's Regression Suite Automation Tool (RSAT) and Azure DevOps.
  • Microsoft Certification: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or similar.
  • General understanding of federal accounting principles or internal controls.

Location: Washington, DC (fully remote)
Base Compensation: $120-135K*
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
