Key Position Information
  • FTE: 0.8 (64 hours per two-week pay period)
  • Shifts: 8-hour day shifts
  • Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Required every 4th
  • Location Requirement: Must reside within 60 minutes of Allina Commons, Apple Valley, MN, or Coon Rapids, MN.

Job Responsibilities

The role of nursing involves diagnosing and treating human responses to actual or potential health issues. This includes forming a purposeful therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and patients and their families.   • Outcomes Identification:
    • Identify expected outcomes tailored to each patient.
    • Collaborate with patients and families to set realistic and measurable outcomes.
  • Planning:
    • Create a plan that prescribes interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
    • Develop individualized plans considering patient characteristics and situations.
    • Incorporate evidence-based practices and adhere to regulations in care planning.
  • Implementation:
    • Execute the established plan safely and appropriately.
    • Utilize evidence-based interventions specific to diagnoses.
    • Document interventions according to established guidelines.
  • Evaluation:
    • Assess patient progress towards expected outcomes.
    • Involve patients and families in the evaluation process.
    • Revise diagnoses and care plans based on ongoing assessments.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's or Vocational degree in nursing
  • At least 3 years of RN experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in triage, anticoagulation, or remote nursing support
Licenses/Certifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Minnesota required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Wisconsin required by the end of orientation
Physical Demands

This position is primarily sedentary, requiring occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs and negligible weight frequently.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is between $40.08 and $54.93 per hour. The starting salary will be influenced by various factors, including experience, education, and applicable agreements. Additional differentials may apply for specific shifts or weekend work.
