Job description

We are currently looking for a Senior Microsoft Dynamics Developer for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. In this role, you will design, develop, customize, and support solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service). You will work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, and IT teams to deliver scalable, high-quality CRM solutions that improve business operations and support business transformation.

The position will support a collaborative Agile environment where the developer will configure Dynamics 365, develop custom solutions and integrations, support testing and deployments, and troubleshoot production issues. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365, JavaScript, C#, .NET, Power Platform, and enterprise integrations while following Microsoft best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
  • Configure Dynamics 365 modules to meet business requirements, including entities, forms, views, business rules, and process automation.
  • Integrate Dynamics 365 with enterprise systems using APIs, web services, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and other integration tools.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
  • Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage the deployment of Dynamics 365 customizations and updates.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance tuning for Dynamics 365 solutions while creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation.
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development using JavaScript, C#, .NET, and Power Platform.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Dynamics 365 APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to develop scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional project teams.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics products for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal agencies.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Logic Apps and Azure Functions, along with familiarity with data migration, ETL processes, DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum environments, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • All selected candidates must successfully complete a background check.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including required fingerprinting, when required for the position.
