About the Organization

We are committed to serving a wide array of populations, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant communities, ensuring that all voices are heard and catered to.

Work Environment

This position is uniquely structured within a remote outpatient office setting, allowing you to provide therapy to clients from the comfort of your chosen space. You will work approximately Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the understanding that some flexibility may be required to meet patient needs. Our practice fosters a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere, promoting teamwork and support among colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough, culturally aware mental health assessments to establish a deep understanding of patients' experiences and challenges. From this foundation, develop tailored treatment plans that resonate with each patient's unique context.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring they are adapted to fit diverse cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, where you will address various mental health concerns while fostering resilience in patients.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver cohesive and comprehensive mental healthcare.
  • Provide crisis intervention, remaining poised and responsive during times of mental health emergencies.
  • Engage in educating patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community resource navigation.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences to contribute to the ongoing development of practices and improve therapeutic outcomes.
  • Continuously seek out knowledge on current research and culturally relevant practices in the mental health field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse population of patients, which includes individuals from varied ethnicities, sexual orientations, and socio-economic backgrounds. You will provide therapeutic support to those navigating life transitions, trauma, personal struggles, and mental health disorders while ensuring an inclusive and respectful therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
  • A strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver individual and group therapy using culturally responsive approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the formation of trust-based relationships with clients from all backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related digital tools.
  • A commitment to ethical practices, maintaining professional boundaries, and upholding patient confidentiality in all interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a multicultural mental health setting is highly desirable, allowing for informed and culturally competent interactions.
  • Experience with crisis management and intervention techniques tailored to diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with community resources and referral systems to further assist patients in their mental health journeys.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, including mental health coverage, dental, and vision plans.
